Exercise Equipment - While working as a consultant for HLB California I had the opportunity to retrofit Diamondback's 1150 series of exercise equipment. Bringing a sleeker, unifying design language to their products came together by using like curves and a subtle surface change found in a bow line towards the bottom of the products.
Sports Equipment - With this Paintball Head Gear developed for DYE Precisions INC. the intention was to break away from a mask based on Motocross design queues, and still keep the rugged hardcore feel that the sport represents. Here we see a form with soft lines and aggressive curves enabling the indigenous feel to stay true. Along with an evenly perforated mesh that can be easily cleaned, the user will find it easier to breath as well as communicate with their teammates.
Jogging Stroller - In the market of jogging strollers we tend to see the same triangular shape that has dominated the market for many years. The next generation is always looking for change. With this jogging stroller we can set a new direction. Keeping in mind the evolutionary process, incorporating a duel functioning product is the obvious next step. Listening to the consumer the form had to be sleek and look fast. Much like a sports car, and still function with the ease of the modern day jogging stroller.
Life Equipment - This piece of exercise equipment has a soft and light feel that is great for the home. Smooth surfaces and aggressive curves, incorporating a bright touch screen displaying the user's heart rate, speed and level of intensity brings a contemporary feel to a very elegant form.
Ave 19 - In 2005 I had a client who was a sculpture and I worked as a design consultant for him on many projects between 2005 and 2007. All of the sculptural files you see in this folder are directions I submitted to him and the city of Los Angles.
