The Shelby Apartments (2014)
Insight Property Group, a Client of Proverb LLC, had identified a residential market opportunity in Alexandria, Virginia—a leafy, affluent suburb of DC. Plans were set in motion for a new apartment complex, but there was one major problem: its location was a somewhat desolate strip of Route 1, a far cry from picturesque Old Town.
Rather than avoiding the location, however, our solution was to embrace it by developing a brand around the escapist romance of the American road. The Shelby’s “America Restyled” positioning informed a fully integrated campaign, including a robust website, collateral, interior design, and even staff uniforms.
I was responsible for various layouts and typesetting across both print and digital media under the direction of a Sr. Art Director.
