Taza Chocolate (2010)
Taza is a maker of stone-ground chocolate with a focus on manufacturing high quality, socially responsible products that are organic, sustainable, and direct trade. They had just undergone a branding redesign that resulted in a loss of consistency and distinctiveness across product lines. Proverb was hired to craft new packaging that incorporated Taza’s new identity in unique, memorable, and consistent ways. I had the opportunity to design various flavor illustrations and patterns as well as arrange the typography used across a variety of Taza Chocolate products under the direction of a Sr. Art Director.
I did not create the Taza logo, or select the colors used.
