Sub-Ice: Snowmobile Recovery Device
Annually in the USA and Canada, large numbers of vehicles fall through the ice on frozen lakes. In 2013, more than 30 Snowmobiles fell through the ice in Minnesota alone.
Sub-Ice is a snowmobile recovery device which can rescue a submerged snowmobile from the lake bed, without the need for scuba divers or towing companies. This massively reduces associated costs which can be as much as $10,000 depending on depth of the lake and ease of locating the snowmobile.
