The Pelipod concept consists of three main components:
• A central application which communicates between the retailer, courier and consumer, to control all access codes and data transfers.
• A physical delivery and returns box located at the consumers home.
• A sophisticated electronic M2M (machine to machine) entry system, located on the Pelipod.
The product will allow parcels to be received and returned from the user’s home with no need for the homeowner to be present for deliveries or collections. The user is in control and Pelipod will work with all retailers and couriers – without the need for integration with their systems.
