MASTER'S PROJECT: Usability Study of Graduate Program Web sites

This project was the start of the process of redesigning the Kent State University Chemical Physics Interdisciplinary Program (CPIP) web site and included usability studies, user interviews and prototype creation.
For the usability study, eight individuals were given a series of tasks to perform on the existing department site as well as two other similar sites from other universities. The usability study identified and confirmed current problem areas which will be addressed in the new design. In addition, low-fidelity wireframes were created to reflect some of the suggested features on the new site.
