Protect Appalachian Diversity
The challenge was to create a campaign that was not something purely commercial, but rather something that would improve upon a social or environmental issue we were passionate about through design.
Each year, thousands of acres of the Appalachian mountains are destroyed from mountain-top removal coal-mining. It is arguably one of the most catastrophic environmental crises occurring in our nation.
The awareness campaign would operate in conjunction with the United States Postal Service, producing a series of stamps and interactive direct mailers.
