Bukowski: Words and Wicked Wisdom
Inspired by his book Portions from a Wine-stained Notebook, Words and Wicked Wisdom is a collection of Charles Bukowski quotes and selections from poetry. Each poem or quote was specifically chosen to evoke the truly wicked and wise spirit of Charles Bukowski.
The design aesthetic was inspired by his foul, loud and brash insight. The palette is synonymous with the colorful nature of his language. The book design is a literal translation of the former: a portion of a wine-stained notebook.
