Made by "a piece of paper" - This piece of furniture is especially for Stockholm furniture fair 2008. "MADE BY MEMORIES" - MEMORIES BECOME FURNITURE THAT LASTS is our theme for the fair. My idea for a piece of furniture started with folding a sheet of paper like I did when I was a child. Paper could create anything you wanted it to. By playing with the qualities of sheet metal and curling it like paper you can begin to create many unique furniture shapes from it. The metal surface used creates a smooth and glossy appearance which helps to enhance the organic shape. This is a sculptural piece of furniture which functions as a stool, a side table, a playful toy or even a lamp shade.
