Manos Libres was my final project to graduate from the "Creatividad Integral" {Integral Creativity} course I took at the Academia Mexicana de Creatividad {Mexican Academy of Creativity}.
The task was to create a brand under a new business model, that would not only generate monetary value, but also community and human value to everyone.
Manos Libres is brings together Mexico's creative community and 50% of the prision inmates who are innocent or at least are paying for a misdemeanor, not a violent crime. The creatives will design fashion, decorative items, furniture, accesories and more, for the inmates to actually produce it within the correctional facility walls, with equipment provided by Manos Libres, earning a salary and return to be productive members of the community while they serve their sentence.
