Concepts - 4th year design studio - Urban Design. Based on the City of Sydney's 2030 Vision and rigorous urban/site analysis and research, a proposal for the re-development of Central Station was devised to transform the 'space' above the existing train tracks into public space.
Diagrams - A diagrammatic analysis of the site's programme and circulation was investigated, leading to the development of an 'urban catalogue' or brief for the project.
Masterplan - Different percentages of the site were allocated to various programmes as per the 'urban catalogue', ensuring major veins and arterial connections through the site were maintained and/or strengthened.
Sections - Long sections through the site and a detailed ground plan of a major entry point.
Details - Detailed sections through some of the major forms of the site, including time diagrams to illustrate staged development.
