Williamsburg Designers Guild - This building at the corner is the public face of the guild. The lower level houses the shop, the upper floors, administration. My senior thesis project at SVA was a designer's guild , a collective of workshops, intended to foster a creative community. It encompases the whole lifecycle of a design, from an idea hatched during a chat in the coffeeshop, through it's production in the workshops, and finally to it's sale in the guild's design shop.

Courtyard, footbridge and Main Lobby - The gap between two of the buildings allowed me to create a courtyard, from which you enter the lobby. The buildings are connected on the second floor via an enclosed walkway. My senior thesis project at SVA was a designer's guild , a collective of workshops, intended to foster a creative community. East Section - Highlighting The built in locker walls, with seating and rolling ladders, the floor cut-throughs which allow the natural light into the central hallways, and the green roof.
