Jessica Giden

I was hired by the University of Oregon, Office of International Affairs to design and construct a kiosk to enclose their UO Global Research Interactive Map. This map premiered at the UO Global Expo during the IAAF World Junior Championships. During this project I worked alongside another designer, Simon Ratti. I designed and constructed the vertical kiosk and Simon made the horizontal kiosk. Oregon's timber industry was a design focus for the kiosks and guided our material choice and construction methods.
