Hammerhead Jack's - A (now defunct) desert beach bar located in Cave Creek, AZ wanted a menu that reflected their So-Cal beach bar vibe. Despite the final version being large (11" x 17") it was a challenge to fit all 100+ items on using the required font and keep them readable. I utilized a simple background to minimize distractions while providing the only space for the logo.
LYTE Lounge & Bistro Menu - front & back - The left side is the front of the menu. The mono chromatic palette reflects decor of the restaurant, while the faded victorian pattern background satisfied a specific request from the client. I chose to use white text in hopes that it would improve readability in the dim lighting of the lounge. The right side reflects back side of the menu, which was kept minimal, and was white to help it stand out on the black table tops under low lighting.
