Manta Ray Glider
Underwater based pool toy designed for Aqua Leisure Industries. The goal was to find a new interaction underwater. Most dive and water toys are focused on sinking and diving. For this project the dynamic was changed to start at the bottom of the pool and raise up to the top.
After nailing down the interaction of starting from the bottom of the pool up - the wing structure was modified to use minimal plastic and maximum adjustability. Sliding the wings right or left turns the manta ray in opposite direction.
