illustration of the story of “The Selfish Giant” by Oscar Wild.:
1.The Autumn Abandons the Giant's Garden. In this illustration the Giant's garden turns to winter because he chased the children away and is now it's totally immersed in fog.
The autumn is represented by a human figure, the color on the top of the wall shows the separation between the outside and the inside of the garden.
2. The Giant and the Children. The giant finally allows the children to play in his garden.
When the Giant becomes good there is a symbiosis between him and the garden, the giant is now one with nature and lets the children play on him, showing the children's complete acceptance of the giant, who now has a gentle smile.
3.The Death of the Giant. The death of the Giant is represented in bright colors, in fact I tried to illustrate the last phrase: And the child smiled on the Giant, and said to him, 'You let me play once in your garden, to-day you shall come with me to my garden, which is Paradise.'
