This Facebook cover image and profile image were created in Illustrator based on existing branding. To see the branding the client and I designed together in the winter of 2012, please see my Logos + Branding projects.
Here are some examples of the Etsy banners I have created for shops on the handmade wares shop. Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign is used for these projects, while keeping in mind the spec requirements for the web format.
The avatar and cover photo were based on this Etsy-based shop's branding and products. Photoshop was used to create a cohesive look between 3 different pictures, while InDesign was used for text and image layout usage.
Twitter background designs should incorporate all branding elements - logo, type, slogan and "personality" of the client.
These designs were created using Illustrator for vector images and Photoshop for layout and mock-ups for client approval.
The cover photo was based on this Etsy-based shop's branding and products. Photoshop was used to create transparency (masking) effects with text against the image, while InDesign was used for text and image layout usage.
