We overhauled the layout of the previous HR design. The focus was on recent College Graduates and the previous cover, of white males on a Yacht, didn't work. The cover design is the Badge, you receive on your first day at Merkle. By removing any faces on the cover it allowed for the viewer to imagine themselves wearing the badge.
The badge also reinforced the realistic pitch, far removed from Yachts. Inside we removed all stock photos and utilized real photos of employees of college age. This reinforced the human touch the client wanted throughout the piece. I took images of our employees and framed them as polaroid's, and I laid them throughout the design to break up spaces and create a more casual look.
