ARC: Assisting Rising Chair
ARC aim to aid elderly individuals suffering from degenerative muscle loss, to stand up independently. The chair is aimed at restoring functional independence and dignity to the user. ARC makes use of a shift pivot system which lifts the user and moves their core body weight over their feet to make the standing up process much easier and comfortable. - The controller is designed with arthritis sufferers in mind as well as being left and right hand customization.
