I love patterns! This project was created in Illustrator as a frame for a flash video in 2012. It could also easily be used as a picture frame. To create this frame, I created a single block and duplicated it. Although I prefer a more modern and sleek design, I have met a lot of site owners that prefer a more feminine feel, especially when marketing products for women. Although the powder blue and earthy brown really plays nice together, the scheme has become so trendy that I think we can expect it to become dated soon. In my opinion, it should have already been retired, but then I’m not designing for me.
