This vector graphic project was created in cooperation with my daughter as a CMST 320 Illustrator Graphics assignment in 2012. The point of this assignment was to show that I had mastered the pen tool. This semi-abstract painting represents my daughter-in-law, whom we love dearly, and her creative quirky personality. All of the Illustrator work is mine, while the pastel painting that this digital design is based on is my daughter Alexandria’s. The one thing I regret with this piece is the absence of gradients. But in the name of staying true to the original artist, I chose not to deviate too much.
