2 Dance Video Reformatting Preservation Project - Funded by the Mellon Foundation, this groundbreaking study for the Dance Heritage Coalition sought an appropriate set of technologies to use for the digital reformatting of aging dance footage. We investigated several existing and emerging technologies and recommended the use of Motion JPEG2000. As researcher and writer, I developed study methodologies, worked with DHC to select appropriate footage, performed video analysis, and wrote for this groundbreaking video preservation study.
