Donghia was trying to hit a younger public for her highly priced furniture pieces. After innumerable meetings we avoided photography -the medium they usually used for their advertising campaigns- and chose illustration as a way to convey Donghia's classic and classy interiors and the new target market they were trying to reach.

PEDRIX ANGEL's POSTER - What I love about illustration is that it possesses the freedom of not being restricted by reality. When illustrating I am able to generate new worlds, and generate the pages, posters or whichever formats in which those worlds are contained. There is a constant need of investigation, a search for inspiration and energy and a fight against the whip of style limitations. In illustration the only thing I can't avoid bumping into is the “3 S” theory (sex, style and subversion) by Malcolm McLaren
