Inside are eighteen urban curiosities from five different continents, each published by a different author within the Yellow Arrow community. Each point tells a quirky, compelling story of a place and/or event, both in major metropolises and small towns alike.
CONDUIT GROUP COMPANY BOOK - INTRO PAGES - I used to find an unavoidable wall in the path of design when it came to being organized. As I heard many, many times at the studio: “If you want to cook, first you need to prepare you mis en place”. When I was asked to create Conduit’s Company Profile book it seemed the perfect opportunity to test myself as a true cook. I had to understand a vision, a goal, collection of products, exhibitions, critiques... and present them in an attractive, understandable and digestible way.
CONDUIT GROUP COMPANY BOOK - PRODUCTS - The result: a 48 page book that fairly reflected Conduit Group's spirit -the result of proactive efforts to build a new model for design in the 21st Century. During the process of creation of this book, I learned the essence of indexing, the importance of narrative and the meaning of the word "sequence". I come back to this lesson almost everyday from then now.
