Burger King came to Pakistan with a single minded proposition of capturing the market. It was initially launched in Karachi and then in Lahore followed by the cities of Faisalabad and Multan. The challenge was to tell a compelling story by using product shots and creative copywriting while adhering to their Brand Guideline.
The people of Lahore are generally known to be big eaters, they love food and are famous for this all around Pakistan. Since Burger King was first launched in Karachi, the people of Lahore were well aware that it would only be a matter of time before they would be able to have Burger King in their own city. To launch Burger King in Lahore, we came up with a teaser campaign, the copy read " Brush up on your appetite Lahoris the King is coming!" and we only used a silhouette of a Burger as an image.
