Helo Tele-Presence Robot

The goal of 9th Sense Robotics (now Fellow Robotics) is to create a low cost and accessible consumer tele-presence robot. As a summer intern at 9th Sense, I researched, integrated, and programmed libraries for a cost effective infrared distance sensor. This system allowed for intelligent edge detection and danger mitigation as well as dynamic programmatic control of motor speeds depending on the slope of the ground in front of the robot. I also helped design a prototype charging dock as well as organized and controlled the labs tools.
