The objective of the project was to co-operate with a local organization and work with them to come up with a solution to try to eradicate certain social issues using graphic design. A local school was selected, i.e. Chougule Public School. After meeting with the faculty the topics decided were as follows:-
1. Save Girl Child
2. Spread Girl Education
It was decided to co-operate with the students of the school (aged 10-12).
A workshop was organised , where there was a discussion regarding the issues and then all the people co-operated to design the posters.
As it is known that the problems’ are caused by adults but concern the children, so the opinion of the students on the specified topics was to be known.
In order to communicate the message, this way seemed appropriate. The response was great; the impact of thoughts and creativity of young children was remarkable and outstanding.
