Karl Lagerfeld Paris menswear collection for North America draws inspiration from it’s namesake. By taking Karl Lagerfeld’s taste for luxury aesthetics and blending it with comfort materials, the end product is wearable for all occasions whether casual or formal. Some staple materials and attributes include comfort stretch, Cotton Modals, Peruvian Pima Cotton & Mercerized Cottons.
CORE TRIM PACKAGE
One of my first projects at Karl Lagerfeld Paris was to re-design all of the trims and help elevate the sportswear and outerwear collections. We wanted the core trims to convey a sleek, sharp and contemporary feel.
I created 3 sizes of woven labels to fit each main classification. Previously a single bulky label was being used for everything from heavy outerwear to tees. I updated the hangtag to a longer, thinner and heavier card stock with a smooth sueded finish and glossy logo.
The next focus was on keeping the sleek elevated feel for all other components by incorporating polished metal finishes as accents/highlights. I took inspiration from the polished details that trim classic cars.
Cutting Edge Embellishment Designs/Experiments/Developments
Inspired by Mixed Media Artwork, I experimented with the mixing of multiple layers of surface textures, finishes, materials & techniques to create unique artworks to be heat transferred onto any of our garments.

Hired in the capacity of Designer and Graphic Artist to work on the launch of Karl Lagerfeld Paris men’s sportswear line for North America in the Fall of 2017. Designs and develops graphics & prints for all sportswear categories and shoes. Designs and develops all trims, packaging & labeling for the entire collection. Designs and develops woven/knit tops and bottoms. Follows all developments from concept to production. Deliveries include Pre-Fall, Fall, Holiday & Spring/Summer.
