Masks are used to hide and change a person’s identity, but they can also be used to amplify it. First, six users are chosen. Pulling from a list of the user’s attributes and characteristics, masks are designed embodying the personality of each user. Instead of changing the user’s identity, headpieces can be used to tell the story of the person behind the mask. In this way, each mask is used to communicate information about the person wearing it.

Through free sketching, three distinct directions emerged.
