The Nike+ Running application on the iPhone is an application that tracks your movement whilst exercising. The application already incorporates a small bit of data visualization but I wanted to further this by using the other bits of data acquired by the application.
Using Processing, I designed a program that used the 4 bits of data gathered within the application, time, distance run, average pace and calories burnt and created a range of jewellery pieces through 3D printing that replicates a months worth of data. Each piece or set of jewellery is unique depending on the personal data gathered from the Nike+ Running application.
This project was an introduction to the properties of 3D printing and the models printed.
