The Ugly Face of Beauty
This project was undertaken as part of my Fine Art course. It is based upon our society's warped perception of what beauty is. A series of masks were produced in response to research into the effects anorexia has on the body (dry skin, fatigue, hair loss etc), in an attempt to portray that the "ideal" body image is anything from beautiful.
