Replacing the color of a photo. - Assignment was to get us familiar with filters and auto features in Photoshop. Photo had enhanced colors to rooftop and grass to make the picture pop more.
Fixing warped picture - The original picture was warped and old fashion. Saturation, hue, and curves were applied with Photoshop for this image.
From color to BW - Original was color photo. Applied Auto Black and White filter. Still didn't pop like I wanted it to so I applied Levels to bring out more of the bright white.
New sky - The original has a completely different sky. Gathered the sky image online and applied a selection to eliminate the sky. The sky originally was plain faded blue. The clouds and curves brings out the best of the clouds and the light house.
Mosaic - Applying a mosaic filter with a mosaic mask.
Iron Man Poster - Used pen tool to create the helmet. Double color background with line overlay. The sparks are all lens flares combined. Also the bright glowing eyes are lens flares to make it a little more realistic feel to it.
Namified - Taking a mid tone and shadow color range and separating it in two different layers. Once the two layers are separated use those layers as layer masks. The bottom layer will be a scattered mess of custom brush of a specific name (Jaron in this case). Last thing is a gradient overlay to the middle layer to give a rich color chalk feel.
Magazine Cover - Mosaic created previously now implemented into a mimic Photoshop user magazine. The goal was to mimic this type of magazine as closely as possible. Matching fonts and layouts.
Vector Robot - We needed to make a robot from scratch and using mainly the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator. I tried to make a mini helicopter transformer. I would have liked to add more detail but turned out great for just using the pen tool.
Website Layout (uvlink) - Utah Valley University Newly designed UVLink. Everything is synced with simplicity (Facebook,email, canvas, twitter). Fresh clean feel to bring simplicity to the chaotic current uvlink.
Personal logo 1 - Purpose: design a custom personal logo
Letter head, envelope, and business card - Once we created our own logo we then needed to create our own personal stationary set. The design goal was to be consistent but still remain simplicity. Color scheme is black and white for simplicity.
