Reading device for the blind

A 2nd year University project.

A device that allows blind people to read 2Dimensional text as 3Dimensional braille.

The device is able to scan pages of text and displaying it as braille, this makes it easier to teach braille to partially sighted people or can be used as a device for around the home.

Braille books/ documents are expensive and double the thickness, this device allows a blind person more freedom and independence by allowing them to read things that normally they would need a helper.
