My surrealism project was inspired by time and space. i was thinking that time is shifting away wherever you are. So i use the hourglass as the main object. Then i thought about that if the time is moving nonstop, then every second would be different. I looked through the image pack, then i found two images, one is a basket ball and the other one was a soccer ball. since these are kind of the opposite, i used them as my resources. First, i used the retouching tools to get rid of the sands inside the hourglass, then i changed its blending mode to overlay. Then i made a couple copies of the balls, and put them into the hourglass. I adjusted their shapes and sizes to make them look different. then i used the dodge and the burn tool to create shadows for the balls. for the background, i made it myself. i used couple dark colors like blue and purple to create the feeling of space. Then i used the mixing brush to mix them together, and by adding stars, i made the background more beautiful.
