In my paint portrait project, I got to try a lot of different types of brushes, it was a very special experience and i really liked it. To complete my portrait, I used a picture of myself, and sketched the outline of my figure first by using a black solid brush, so that when i paint on it, i know exactly where to go and where to stop. Then, i created a new layer, i named it BASE. I painted some big and major colors on the figure as the base color, it gave me the big shape of what was going on in the figure, it could also give me a rough idea of what color i should be using for the details. After finishing the BASE layer, i created a layer called DETAILS. In this layer, i start to really give the detail of what was going on in the portrait, and try to create those textures that looked realistic. For me, this is the hardest part out of all the processes, because i had to chose many different types of brushes and decide the opacity, hardness, and many other stuffs.
