Fur Is Cruel - A poster for respect for animals to highlight that fur is still cruel. Very eye catching and powerfull, and really good fun to work on.
Boy - Typeface - A typeface designed with a specific poster in mind, which proved to be extremly versitile and has been used on a number of different projects.
This is a poster to showcase the typeface.
Nico - Hand Rendered Poster - This was a really exciting project. Dominic Davies (of V23 fame) asked a bunch of designers to respond emotionally to a song and create visuals. The song I got was by Nico, and I went out with a 1906 box brownie camera, set up a bunch of candles and took some eerie shots... alot of development later and this is the resulting poster. The poster complimented the CD jacket design which took the hand rendered and mixed it with the box brownie photographs.
Innovation Awards - A series of four posters showing how such a simple idea or first thought or quick scribble could win the innovation awards. We continued the polaroid theme throughout the application form and onto the postcards. Very successfull leading to a 300 percent increase in applications to the innovation awards.
Degree Show - In hindsight I should have bought shares in lego I ended up spending so much money on the stuff building my mini utopia... and this is the poster that the 'Boy' typeface was designed for.... I really enjoyed making the scene for this shot and think that the type and image work well together.
