Bench - This bench was developed as part of a live project with Formica whilst studying in my second year . The Brief was to design a Piece of exhibition furniture for the fashion and textile museum in London. I drew my inspiration from Victorian cast iron park benches. I tried to replicate some of the ornate floral patterns onto a flat sheet of laminate substrate; I did this through capitalizing on CNC technology removing areas from the sheet to create negative spaces and thus revealing the imagery.
