In my print practices course we learned different methods of screen printing. The first project was an introduction to screen printing by printing our design acetate to then expose on the screen. The second project was to hand draw our design using different methods such as India ink, faber-castell pens, etc. The third project was printing with two or more colors and learning how to register the screens so there was no overlap. For the first two projects I was really interested in focusing on coral and sea life. The first project is an abstract version of sea vegetation while the second project is a more realistic version of sea vegetation. For project three I decided to take a step back from sea vegetation and focus on cacti.
