Brooklyn Shoe and Epson Project - Warp Knits

In my advanced warp knit class (Fall 2017) we made our own sneakers using warp knit fabrics. We started with the design of the shoe we wanted and from there started making prints on Photoshop. After we had our prints we printed them on an Epson printer and then dye subbed the prints onto different warp knit fabrics. From there we made composites of the different fabrics. After we had all of our materials we spent a weekend in Brooklyn at Brooklyn Shoe and transformed our fabrics into shoes! Then in February 2018 we went to New York for the Epson Fashion show, where our shoes were on display.
