Advanced Weft Knitting: Lightning
In my advanced weft knitting course we learned how to program knit files on APEX 3 knitting program and then how to operate and knit our files on the Shima Seiki SWG 10 cut knit machine. For our first project we had to pick a concept based on weather. I went with the concept lightning. I focused on the movement of the lightning bolts, storm clouds, and the different colors that appear during storms.
