Jacqueline Bartolo

For my final advanced weft knit project I was inspired by Glasswing Butterflies. I wanted to to focus on the delicacy of the butterflies. I specifically tried to focus on the veins in the wings, movement of flight, as well as the bright colors. I used pointelle, links and jacquard knit structures to create the fabrics. I then put the fabrics into an end use of apparel.
