Portable Coat Hanger - Chindogu
Chindogu design originated from Japan and is known as 'useless design'. The design style itself has 10 rules which can be found on their website but the gist is to create a product that fixes a problem but in doing so causes others. This is a light hearted design process intended to make you think about the world in alternative ways.
My product is a portable coat hanger. It can be attached to your clothes through magnetic tabs which are easy to take on and off.
The idea behind the product is to allow the occupier to wrap up warm in the early morning, and as the day heats up they are able to have an easy system for holding their unworn clothes.
