Solid Flow Form - For this particular form study, the form had the be created with complex transitional surfaces. The goal of the solid flow-form was to create a form that used only fair curves to shape a block of poplar. The form was created by using a single curve that is repeated throughout the profiles of the block. The design goals were to emphasize the fair curves by orchestrating visual and physical characteristics to clearly communicate the form.
