Competition Entry. Exhibition Space In Ancient Reservoir

This is a competition entry for the "Reuse Italy 2020" contest. Participants were asked to create an exhibition space in an underground Ancient Roman water reservoir - Piscina Mirabilis. This space involves exterior and interior component. The main conceptual idea was focused around involving reusable water and its states, specifically ice, for creating art made of ice. The interior hall was designed to be a large refrigerator that keeps ice frozen. The exterior structures contain the rest of the given program, while resembling shapes of pressed snow/ice printed on glass panels.
