The course brief required us to come up with a collection of woven fabrics for a brand, which we had to choose individually. These woven fabrics would be informed by a brand study, as also the fashion forecast and the season we would be designing for.

I chose to come up with a range of woven fabrics for girls under Kids wear for the Spring/Summer 2013 collection for Burberry.

I tried to keep the mood of the board fresh and tender, and tried to retain a certain kind of rawness at the same time. Simplicity and the priceless joys of life was another factor which formed a part of my mood board. Thus I chose images which emoted a similar thought into the viewer’s mind.
