Exhibition Design for the "PAINTINGS FROM SIENA" exhibition at BOZAR, Brussels.
This exhibition pays tribute to Siena and its magnificent pictorial tradition in collaboration with the prestigious Pinacoteca Nazionale di Siena and the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rouen.
The exhibition showcases sixty masterpieces which bear testimony to a revolutionary form of art from the thirteenth century until the fifteenth century.
The colorful and brilliant paintings are shining in the black clima-controlled showcases. Black&White, the colors from the cathedral of Siena, is the common theme of the exhibition. Therefore the Siena inspired fabric of Alvar Aalto is the best accessory to bright up the serene atmosphere.
