For the overall vision of my font face project, I wanted a very simple minimalistic face with a bold and graphic background and hair. To achieve the minimal face I used keyboard characters and left the face mostly unshaded, omitting the eyes for a more graphic design. I mainly used the type on a path tool to follow the curves of my face and keep it simple. For the
bold hair I used multiple words to fill the outline and then used the meshing selection from the envelope distort section of the object menu. I chose one word for the background: my name I then enlarged it to fit the entirety of the back and painted a white halo around and inside my facial
outline to prevent overlap. I also used the meshing feature to give it a more texturally unified look with the foreground, especially with my hair. I am very pleased with how this portrait has come out, feel as though it has a strong resemblance to me and a pleasing graphic look as well.
