I wanted my high school directory cover to look like I had taken several images from a newspaper and collaged them all together. I also wanted to make this very technically sound. I wanted to be able to name the
layers, create layer masks, and layer styles. I made the background the gradient fill layer. It added a realistic looking background. I was inspired by the actual streets of New York City.
