2010: Eternal Treasure- House of Tranquil Contemplation
Tianlun Sui Garden, a gathering of 63 villas, is located in ancient Mudu Town of Suzhou. The No.28th is aimed to reconstructed into a specific chamber. With famous lingyan temple nearby, and many leisure chambers in the town sharing same qualities, we suggested the client to build it into a Buddha thematic chamber, which will have a unique image among other business competitors.

Design approach/
Graphs, decoration, architecture and landscape of Buddha was investigated and researched. Mandala was used as the origin of forms. Wood, which was regarded as a kind of material containing soul and life, was used to illustrate it. Generally, tranquility and simplicity was the main goal. Thus, addition was referred for reconstructing architecture, while subtraction for rebuilding landscape.
