Brightkid backpack badges - Brightkid backpack badges are designed to address the issue of child pedestrian injury in a fun way. While reflectors are highly effective at increasing pedestrian visibility in the dark, many accidents actually happen at dusk, when drivers' eyes have not yet adjusted to lower light conditions and when many children are returning home from school. Brightkid badges are photosensitive, turning on in low light conditions. This prototype is designed to be an appealing accessory for girls aged 5-10.
